FUN FACT : BROWNIE ORIGINATED IN THE USA AROUND THE 19th CENTURY

Magic ingredients:

  • Flour – 1 cup
  • Cocoa powder – 1/2 cup
  • Chocolate – 200 grams (80 percent dark chocolate will work well)
  • Cocoa powder – 1/8 cup (Yes, We require 2 different measurements of cocoa powder)
  • Butter – 1 and 1/4 cup
  • Sugar – 2 cups
  • Dark brown sugar – 1/4 cup
  • Light brown sugar – 1/4 cup
  • Vanilla essence – 2 tsp
  • Salt – 1 tsp
  • Eggs – 6

Here is how to make these amazing brownies……….

  • Melt butter and add it to chocolate and 1/8th measurement of cocoa powder. Let the chocolate melt completely
  • In a different mixing bowl mix all the sugars, vanilla essence, salt and incorporate well
  • Then add eggs one by one and whisk it together until the batter almost doubles in size
  • Add chocolate mixture and whisk it together to make the batter thick and aerated
  • Sieve the flour and 1/2 cup measurement of cocoa into the egg mixture and fold it in (Mixing it too much will deflate the batter making the brownies dense)
  • Grease and line the baking tin and pour in the batter
  • Bake at 180 degree celcius for 20 t0 25 minutes (22 minutes for fudgy and 25 minutes for cakey)
  • After that demould the brownie, let it cool and the cut it into pieces
  • Like I always say enjoy it with a scoop of ice cream!!!!!!!!!
